How do I create my Collaborate account?

You do not need to create a Collaborate account because it comes standard with WCU’s Blackboard. Collaborate can be added to any course.

Can students start sessions?

Collaborate is intergrated within Blackboard and requires an instructor to start the session or open a meeting room which can be used.

Who can share content during a session?

Anyone the instructor has designated as a presenter can share their screen and files. By default the instructor is the only person who can share content.

What browser should I use?

Collaborate works best on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Why would I use Collaborate?

Collaborate is a video collaboration resource ideal for using as part of your course engagement. Collaborate can be used for online classes and remote group meetings, similar to how discussion boards are used within Blackboard.
